Transport in the area is served by all forms of travel categories. The bus service in the area comes under the Stagecoach and also First Hampshire. There are many local services and also regular travel to major cities such as London, Bradford and Birmingham.

Railway services run under South West trains and these include services to Guilford and also London Waterloo. There are also services to Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester. Portsmouth does not have its own airport and the nearest one is Southampton and this is about half an hour away.
